Roof replacement and storm damage inspection across DFW and North Dallas

We connect homeowners across the North Dallas corridor — from the City of Dallas up through Collin and Denton counties — with a qualified local roofing partner. Each city page carries that city's own published re-roof permit requirements, which vary considerably and matter more to your claim than most contractors will tell you.

Where the partner comes out

Five cities at launch. We would rather publish five pages with genuine local detail than thirteen that say the same thing with the name swapped.

Why city pages exist here

Re-roof permit rules genuinely differ across the corridor

Most roofing sites publish city pages that are the same page with a different name at the top. Ours are not, because there is a real difference worth writing down: the cities in this corridor do not treat a re-roof the same way.

Denton requires a roof permit for all residential roof or re-roof projects and publishes detailed requirements down to flashing and vent replacement. McKinney lists roofing among the work requiring a permit and routes it through a self-service portal. Frisco offers a fast self-service permit specifically for replacing roofs with the same material. Dallas layers historic and conservation district rules on top of its building code at particular addresses.

That is not trivia. It affects what your contractor has to do, what the scope of a claim ought to include, and whether a material upgrade is straightforward or needs a plan review first.

North Texas weather

The regional picture

We cite the National Weather Service regionally and deliberately do not publish hail statistics for individual suburbs, because we have not found a primary source that supports claims at that resolution. Hail falls in narrow, uneven swaths — which is why a neighborhood-level statistic would be misleading even if we had one, and why the only evidence that matters is your own roof.
